TownKings invites you to the TownFlirt: Free Dating right in the same city where you live!

September 20th, 2007

It is getting more difficult, to get to know people in everyday life – for the quick flirt, for the love of your life or simply just to share your hobbies.
Dating in the internet usually offers the solution – it is in most cases very expensive and nationally oriented. TownKings (http://www.townkings.com), the new local Social Community, invites you to the TownFlirt: On the virtual city map, people who are ready to flirt within the immediate neighbourhood are rapidly found. Of course free of costs.

The internet connects people in a global scale. The Social Community TownKings gives the main point to the local sector and allows all users to advertise themselves free of charge. Through this, these people will enjoy a long-term advertisement in the virtual city plan. The fast rising number of individuals is already using the new service in order to present oneself in the internet, to chat with likeminded people from the neighbourhood, to send a mail or to search a rendezvous in real life.

With TownKings people from the immediate neighbourhood find oneself rapidly. Each member of the community is represented with an appropriate small icon in order to be seen in the city map. Via a mouse-click, it would be possible to read particular information concerning a particular person - with photo, contact information and personal description. Philipp Kraft, CEO and founder of TownKing’s mother company Supreme NewMedia GmbH: „Through Townkings, people in the local area can easily find and meet each other and with this system, one can flirt and date locally, as well. We therefore invite all members to the TownFlirt and open up a function to enable everybody the use of the above-mentioned system free of costs. That is very important for many users, due to the fact that the same function from other providers is often associated with expensive bills.”

TownKings invites to the TownFlirt: Everything you need to find Love
As soon as a member is ready to flirt, he can place a small heart on his map in the virtual city map.
That shows to all visitors of the map that someone in one particular area would like to flirt outside the range of his map icon.
If anybody thinks he has found the right partner after viewing the photos and the accompanying description, he can wink, cuddle or immediately mail or chat to establish a contact.

Still a better idea: With TownKings all individuals who are ready to flirt can activate a date request.
Through this method, one could search for friends or strangers for a specific event – like a visit to a disco, blind date party, evening barbecue, a small vacation, or a romantic dinner. Comprehensible „Emotions“facilitates the first personal contact in a simple fashion.

If an individual already knows, when or where he is at a particular moment, one could register meeting points for a specific date, which makes it easier to make an appointment with other individuals. Furthermore, one can filter and search exactly for people who are willing to date in the entire portal according to varied parameters.

The map Chat positions itself in the service of those who are in love.

The Chat function of TownKings, makes flirting online very easy.
There are two possibilities. In the “map chat”, all members can communicate openly and use the city map for immediate reference. With this advertising function one directs a lot of attention to one’s self. If one finds the suitable partner, it is possible to engage in a private chat. Thereby, one can pave the way for a completely intimate communication of emotions. Carlo Blatz, CTO and at the same time founder of this organization: “the TownFlirt functions very well, because all members have uploaded their real photographs. Thus every person knows at any given time, with whom he is currently communicating with. We would like to wait for the first couple to report, who has met and established a contact via the Townkings way.

TownKings - the new social community takes off!

July 4th, 2007

More and more communities are relying on virtual maps. Moreover TownKings is relying on real life. TownKings, as a town community, brings people and places together on a local level. The local orientation brings more relevance to the social network and with it, fun for real life.

TownKings accommodates entire virtual towns in one browser window. One glance of the city map on the Internet then shows what’s going on in the neighborhood at anytime. Each user who is registered at TownKings.com is a citizen of his own virtual town and can perpetuate himself with his own profile. Afterwards a pin appears in the cartography - directly in his city, at his workplace or any other place he would like to be seen.

The city at one glance
At first glance various symbols already precisely define which primary wishes a person has in the new social community. No matter if it concerns love, free time, work or maybe even sports: a suitable partner in the immediate neighborhood is quickly found. Important information can be directly accessed in the map profile by means of a mouse click.

Local communication
Besides the innovative local and map-based approach TownKings offers a multitude of interaction and communication functions. In addition to classical news, the service offers the self-developed MapChat and a Skype-like chat. In the process, the use of so-called instant emotions enables communicating feelings very quickly with a small picture.

Who is where tonight? - TownKings connects places and people. Residents can register for the various spots or create their own date ads. This way the TownKing or the TownQueen can see in advance who registered for which party.

Free dating - TownKings offers a free dating function for singles which other platforms charge up to $30 per month for. When TownDate is activated, the user’s map icon gets a little heart which symbolizes flirt willingness. Pleasant one-click-emotions make initial contact easier.

TownKings is being launched in the public beta test
With immediate effect TownKings is launching the public beta test after 14-months of intensive development. Every interested user can register free of charge. As time goes by, more and more innovative functions will be successively activated and made available to the community.

Comment from Philipp Kraft, CEO: „As the first community, we now already visualize the connection of the users amongst themselves and show them optionally with their own picture or webcam video. At the same time, today TownKings doesn’t even contain 50 percent of the functionality which we will be offering by the end of the year. For us, main issues are presentation and communication in local surroundings. Here we will set new standards internationally.“

In the next few weeks the TownPage editor is entering the race with this in mind. It allows all members of the TownKings community to create their own high-class, free homepage with an individual design, which cannot be compared to the currently plain profiles of the competitors.

By the way, the team is raffling off a brand new Nintendo Wii among all new members who register at TownKings.com as of June 30th.

Prologue

„The Internet is becoming local. A “short” time ago the world was still a village but now the village has achieved a global size which no one can really grasp. The Internet as nirvana of information raises the direct question of relevance. What is relevant? OK, the question here is again when and why but ultimately it is a question of the feasibility, the physical accessibility i.e. the relevant network is local, accessible, assessable. Potential is larger locally than globally because here is where real life takes place. Certainly general information is an international commodity but in Internet trade you already encounter national boundaries. In the area of dating and friends we already manoeuvre within a distance of 100km in regard to evening plans, then suddenly in the pub next door. Is the world really a village or is the village the/your world?” (Citation Philipp Kraft)
